Postdoc  summary/title:–Postdoc in Ultrasensitive 2D Material Magnetometry – DTU Physics

We are seeking an excellent candidate for a 2-year postdoc within electronic engineering of 2D magnetic sensors for room-temperature magnetic sensors for ultrasmall fields. The position will be part of the 2DPHYS – 2D Materials Engineering and Physics – section at DTU Physics and is funded by the Novo Nordisk Challenge project BIOMAG. The aim of the BIOMAG team is to develop sensor technologies to measure the ultrasmall magnetic fields originating from nerve cells in the human brain, based on optical or electrical detection schemes.

(07) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

The primary challenge in powering AI processors and GPUs is enhancing the efficiency of voltage regulator modules (VRMs) to meet their substantial power demands, driven by the processing of vast amounts of data.  As part of the ERC project H3PMAG, this project aims to address key challenges in the direct conversion of 48 V to 1 V PoL converters, focusing on efficiency, power density, and dynamic response. The research will concentrate on optimizing magnetic components and revolutionizing their integration and packaging solutions.

The development of water electrolysis technologies operating around 200 oC would be beneficial for the sector coupling of hydrogen production to the production of other chemicals. The durability of electrodes and electrolytes, however, possess a challenge to operation of polymer electrolyte membrane electrolysis cells above 100 oC. This post doc position targets the development of durable electrode and electrolyte materials operating at elevated temperature.

If so, we have an exciting postdoc opportunity for you at the Technical University of Denmark, Department of Energy Conversion and Storage (DTU Energy). We are a diverse group of scientists and engineers who are spearheading the acceleration of the discovery of green materials that could be used in next-generation energy conversion and storage devices. 

We have a two-year postdoc position focusing on developing sustainable electrolytes for Li- and Na-ion applications. The project aims to design high-entropy electrolytes that are moisture-tolerant and fluorine-free. We are looking for a battery chemist who specializes in battery electrolyte development design. You will be working with colleagues with diverse backgrounds, spanning from atomic/molecular simulations and machine learning to building hardware and software for self-driving labs (SDLs). You will work closely with people working on SDL and computational modeling to make groundbreaking discoveries around high-entropy electrolytes and design them for the next-generation batteries.
